Pharmacy Technician Course

Students are prepared to test for Pharmacy Technician State Certification.

The class instructor is an Certified Pharmacy Technician in the state of N.C.  Students are educated on the duties of a Pharmacy Technician.  The Pharmacy Technician works under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist.  In most cases, job duties consist of providing medication and other health care products to patients, working with third party and doctors offices, preparing prescribed medication. 

 May 13^th          – July 29^th (Thur. 10 am – 1 pm)

Aug. 19^th          - Nov. 4^th   (Thur. 5 pm – 8 pm)

Phlebotomy Technician Course

Friday's Place Phlebotomy Course prepares students to take the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians (ASPT) National Exam.  Course instructor are experienced Phlebotomist.  Students are instructed on Phlebotomy techniques of obtaining blood from a vein or skin puncture for laboratory analysis - aiding in patient diagnosis.
